Vittoria Meeting- last, but not least

It’s Friday, the 5th day of school within the Erasmus+ program from Vittoria. At ~8:30 most of the students arrive at school and start talking with the other Erasmus+ participants. We go then to the Auditorium to get our certificates.

At 10 o’clock we are either in the schools sports hall, where we prepare for the voleyball games, or outside the school, where some of the students are going to play football. The teams are randomly mixed, so a team contains students from different countries. After the two volleyball games, the rest of the students play basketball.

Sadly, winners are not going to play against winners, because of the insufficient time. After the basketball games ended, students went home to eat lunch. After lunch we came to school to exercise our dances. Luckily, we could also see the other participants practicing their dances for the last time. Soon, some of the participants parents are coming to the show. The show starts with us, the Romanian team. We had prepared a ‘battle’ between modern and traditional dances for the audience.

After us came the Spanish team, who recited Spanish poems and sang traditional songs. The Estonian team presented a satiric comparison between Estonian and Italian people, which I must say was very successful. The Turks sang a traditional song and the French presented their lives and origins. The last one were the Italian students who danced Tarantela, the traditional Sicilian dance.

After them came a professional teen dancing team from Vittoria. They danced for about an hour. The show ended and we had some food brought by parents, which was eaten very fast. The time in the school ended with a dancing party on the stage of the auditorium. After the party we went to the square of Vittoria, where we spoke with the other students, until late in the night. We said goodbye to the Estonian team, because they we’re going to leave that night at 3 AM. Soon, everybody started to leave, most of them being sad that the project meeting was over. (Vlad Sili)
